Snitch9ine has done the improbable. Yes, folks. Daniel ‘Tekashi 6ix9ine’ Hernandez could be out of prison before Bobby Shmurda.
Tekashi 6ix9ine: What we know about his case
Tekashi 6ix9ine has been in US Federal prison for 13 months. He and members of the Nine Trey gang were nabbed after an intensive FBI investigation uncovered the gang’s illicit activities.
A rapper and one of the most successful artists from New York, Tekashi 6ix9ine was reeled into the gang life and was complicit in most of the gang’s activities.
In September, as part of his deal with the Feds, the rapper went on the stand and detailed every aspect of the gang’s criminal rap sheet, including names, places and associates likes Jim Jones and Cardi B, who were not picked up by the FBI investigation.
Listen, the boy sang like a canary. While this was a mandatory requirement as per his plea deal, it was at the discretion of the Federal government and judge, Paul Engelmayer to give Tekashi 6ix9ine what he wanted the most — a permanent stay from prosecution.
Here’s the sentence 6ix9ine could he handed
Well, Lawyer for Workers is sure that Tekashi 6ix9ine will be released from the Feds on Wednesday, 18 December.
According to court papers, Judge Engelmayer is likely to hand the rapper 13 months time-served for his involvement in the gang’s illegal activities.
“The way federal sentencing works is: The government tells the judge what sentence the person should get. Here, the government hasn’t asked for any sentence. When the government doesn’t ask for any sentence, what they’re saying is, ‘time-served, no sentence’.”

Speculation has been rife about his life outside of the protection of the FBI. Would he become victim to revenge from associates of the people he took down?
In gang culture, this is always inevitable. However, the rapper has been a constant anomaly throughout his short career.
Some people believe that he could actually break the stigma of a ‘snitch’ in Hip-Hop culture and actually continue his success trajectory when he gets out.
