Tekashi 6ix9ine has been in US Federal prison for 13 months. He and members of the Nine Trey gang were nabbed after an intensive FBI investigation uncovered the gang’s illicit activities.
A rapper and one of the most successful artists from New York, Tekashi 6ix9ine was reeled into the gang life and was complicit in most of the gang’s activities.
In September, as part of his deal with the Feds, the rapper went on the stand and detailed every aspect of the gang’s criminal rap sheet, including names, places and associates likes Jim Jones and Cardi B, who were not picked up by the FBI investigation.
Listen, the boy sang like a canary. While this was a mandatory requirement as per his plea deal, it was at the discretion of the Federal government and judge, Paul Engelmayer to give Tekashi 6ix9ine what he wanted the most — a permanent stay from prosecution.

According to court papers, Judge Engelmayer is likely to hand the rapper 13 months time-served for his involvement in the gang’s illegal activities.
