Monday evening promises to be a treat because in South Africa’s Catalogue Battle sequel, we have Moozlie and Rouge going up against each other to determine who’s the boss bitch of this sh — oop!
Moozlie vs Rouge: The rules of engagement
The first South African artists to import this new battle wave was Tweezy and Gemini Major. The producers went head-to-head in a ’no rules’ encounter and while it was enjoyable, the lack of structure did have its negatives.
This time around, the organisers of the Catalogue Battle have drawn up a straightforward and fair set of rules that will govern this epic Moozlie vs Rouge contest.
Both artists will have to play:
- a song that made people stand up and listen;
- a collab with a DJ;
- hard shit;
- a love song;
- a club anthem;
- a slept-on track;
- an AKA collab;
- a best Moozlie and Rouge collab;
- toe-to-toe; and
- an unheard track
