The DStv Delicious Festival returns in 2022 with a slew of big international acts on the cards. Here’s everything you need to know.
DStv Delicious Festival: How to buy tickets
Credit must go to the organisers of the annual music festival for bridging reconciliation between South Africa and Burna Boy, who’s slated to return to our shores for the first time since the online feud that broke out in 2019 over his inclusion in the Africa Unite benefit concert lineup that never materialised.
Back then, you may remember, Burna was involved in a public spat with former collaborator AKA over his tweets that incited Nigerian immigrants to meet xenophobia with violence.
At the time, the Last Last star swore never to set foot on a South African stage again. But, it seems there really is nothing money can’t buy.
Fans of the superstar will be ready to purchase tickets to the two-day event, which are available in different tiers. The first phase of the ticket sale went live on Wednesday, and fans can either purchase a general entry ticket for R690 or level up access to covered seating near the main stage for R1 950.
The third tier is reserved for VIP attendees with enough affordability to fork out R5 850. This package comes with entry to the premium hospitality unit and drinks and food on the house.
Where will the festival be held this year?
The DStv Delicious Festival is scheduled to take place at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Sandton, Johannesburg, on Saturday, 24 September 2022 and Sunday, 25 September 2022.
Fans travelling by car to the event are advised that one parking lot is available for every two tickets.
