A robbery, which rapidly escalated into a gruesome murder, has left the local community in shock and fear.
According to initial reports, two individuals, whose identities are yet to be disclosed, fell victim to this heinous act while walking near Sarel Avenue, on their way to the cemetery.
The incident unfolded with a sudden and deadly turn. One of the victims, caught in the crossfire, was tragically shot in the head and died at the scene.
The brutality of the act has raised serious concerns about the safety of the area, especially considering the shooting occurred in broad daylight.
The other victim’s condition and the extent of their injuries, if any, remain unclear at this stage.
