Renowned fitness instructor Lawrence Masinge was gunned down on Wednesday, during a live Zoom session.
Who killed Lawrence Masinge?
Participants of the online programme were left gobsmacked by the vicious death met by Masinge, a horrific event that unfolded before their very eyes.
Details around the incident are still very murky, at this stage. However, according to eyewitness who watched Masinge meet his death, saw a man burst into the fitness guru’s frame and fire an undisclosed number of shots at point-blank range.
A recording of the horrifying moment Masinge was assassinated was captured by one of the members.

What we know about Masinge
From what we know about the fitness guru, at this time, it’s understood that he was from Pretoria and at the time of his death, he worked as a fitness instructor and ambassador of I Choose 2 B Active.
In a statement, the health and fitness organisation described Masinge as “a larger than life personality”.
“Coach Lawrence as he was affectionately known was passionate about his fitness craft. Everyone who worked with him in this regard, knew that he put his heart and mind in every class he had,” the company’s head of marketing Nnaniki Malesa said.
Masinge left I Choose 2 B Active at the tail-end of October 2021 and was running his own virtual classes at the time of his death.
“We would like to pass our condolences to the Masinge family, his clients who witnessed his untimely passing and everyone he touched with his fitness coaching business,” the statement red.
The persons involved in the brutal murder of the fitness guru had not been apprehended at the time this article was published.
