Reports of a shooting at the Garden City Engen garage, located at the corner of High St &, Bartlett Rd in Mayfair, Johannesburg, rang out on Monday morning.

According to microblogger @crimeairnetwork, an armed response security officer was found bleeding from gunshot wounds a few feet away from his bakkie and his firearm was missing.
CCTV footage of the incident has since been released and you can watch the ordeal below:
In the video, it is shown how the security officer was accosted by three armed men as he clearing up his car’s windscreen. After a brief struggle, the security officer, clearly outnumbered and overpowered, was shot and the video shows the moment his firearm was taken.
The three armed men scoured the security guard’s vehicle but quickly ran off after finding nothing worth value.
At this time, it is not known if the security guard survived the incident and it is our presumption that the suspects involved in the brazen robbery are still at large.
