CCTV footage captured the horror scenes that unfolded outside a Build-It warehouse in Benoni, Gauteng, where a man was abducted by armed perpetrators.
Watch: CCTV shows abducted Benoni man
Cameras stationed at the business complex on Liverpool Road recorded the moment an unidentified male was targeted by at least four kidnappers, at approximately 09:23 on Friday.
The video clip, first shared by renowned microbloggers @crimeairnetwork shows how the abductors, driving a silver twin cab bake, possibly a Nissan NP300, idled in the parking area of the hardware store, as the man, wearing a kofia and thawb, got out of his car.
As he walked to the other side of his car, the man was unaware of the silver bake pulling off to block his way. Suddenly, before he knew it, the victim was surrounded by two armed men, one of whom was wearing a parking assistant’s vest.
The silver bakkie pulled off with the man wedged in the backseat, between two gunmen. From what we could see from the CCTV footage, the perpetrators took a bag from the victim’s vehicle which was abandoned in the parking area.
At the time of publishing, police had not responded to our questions on the investigation.
Here is the CCTV footage that captured the spine-chilling abduction of the Benoni man.

The kidnapping of the unidentified man comes three weeks after four brothers from Polokwane, Limpopo, were kidnapped on their way to school.
Zila, 15, Zayyad, 11, Alaan, 13, and seven-year-old Zidan Moti were travelling with their driver along the R37, near the N1 bypass, when they were abducted by seven armed men driving two cars, a black Mercedes Benz and a white Kia Sorento.
Fortunately, the Moti brothers were released unharmed Wednesday evening. The suspects involved in the abduction have not been arrested.
