Nashville police released bodycam footage of the moment responding officials gunned down the deranged school shooter, Audrey Hale.

Residents of Nashville, Tennessee, US, are still reeling from the horrific events that transpired on the second floor of the Covenant School on Monday morning.
Hale, a 28-year-old trans man with deep-rooted gender identity issues, infiltrated the Christian private school shortly after 10:00 on Monday, 27 March 2023, carrying two legally obtained assault rifles and a pistol with every intention of killing as many people as possible.
In a span of 14 minutes, Hale parked her Honda Fit at her former school’s parking lot, shot her way into the building and killed six victims, including three children aged nine.
As shown in the bodycam footage you will see below, it didn’t take responding officers long to tactically close in on Hale, who was well-equipped for a fiery encounter with police.
A police unit comprised of Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) veteran officers Rex Engelbert and Michael Collazo, moved swiftly into the second floor and neutralised Hale before he could finish off her sordid plan, which authorities claim was laid out in a manifesto and map that have since been taken in for analysis.

As more details emerge about Hale, who masked her rage with art illustrations he used to promote her freelance graphic design services, Nashville police are nowhere closer to uncovering the motive behind the mass shooting.
“We have not been able to determine a motive as of yet. The investigation is very much still ongoing,” MNPD Chief John Drake said on Tuesday.
