Limpopo police have launched a manhunt for Lodwick Mokgohloa, who allegedly stabbed his 49-year-old wife to death after a heated argument.
The incident reportedly took place after a fierce argument between the couple escalated.
In the heat of the moment, Mokgohloa allegedly attacked his wife with a sharp object, inflicting fatal wounds on her upper body. Following the attack, he fled the scene, leaving his wife critically injured.
Emergency medical services were immediately alerted and rushed to the location.
Despite their prompt response, the victim was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Authorities subsequently opened a murder case, and an intensive investigation is now underway to apprehend the suspect and uncover the full details of the incident.
The police have released an appeal to the public for any information that could assist in locating Lodwick Mokgohloa.
Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to contact the South African Police Service (SAPS).
The police have urged Mokgohloa to present himself at the nearest police station, as his cooperation is believed to be crucial in resolving the case.
