East Rand Mall in Boksburg has been temporarily closed down after a jewellery store was targeted by armed robbers, on Sunday morning.

Here’s everything we know about the robbery
Details surrounding the robbery are still very much sketchy at this time. However, we can confirm that at the time of publishing this article, South African police officials were combing through evidence on the scene.
We also know that no victims were injured in the robbery. According to Blue Hawk Tactical, at least four armed suspects, clad in black bomber jackets, forced their way into the jewellery store and made off with an undisclosed number of pieces.
The suspects left in a hurry and sped off in a charcoal BMW vehicle, the model of which is unknown at this stage. It’s believed, however, that the getaway vehicle is stolen.
There isn’t much else information available at this time but Boksburg shoppers have been warned to avoid East Rand Mall.
