In a statement released by the South African police, spokesperson Captain FC Van Wyk indicated that Snyders was last seen playing with friends near her home in Wesbank, a settlement situated in the Mfuleni district.

“She went missing yesterday afternoon, 23 December 2020 between 15:30 and 16:30, after playing with friends at a nearby park in Wesbank,” Capt. Van Wyk said.

Police also confirmed that according to statements taken from eyewitnesses, the six-year-old was seen leaving the park with a mixed-race couple driving a white light-duty vehicle.

With the bits of information Kuils River authorities have collected thus far, not much progress has been made in finding Snyders, or better yet, tracking down this unknown couple.

What was she wearing the last time she was seen?

Captain Van Wyk revealed that on the day Snyders went missing, she was wearing a black and grey dress with green shoes.
