A couple of days have passed since videos of two vehicles spinning doughnuts at an intersection in Malamulele, Limpopo, went viral and police have yet to identify the daredevils.
Watch: Malamulele intersection turned into doughnut circuit
The videos surfaced on social media this past weekend, the first showing a white BMW 3 Series spinning in circles at the busy intersection.
Fortunately, at the time, there was no congestion and only a taxi was seen waiting for the motorist to finish his little stunt.
The second video was even more daring. A white Nissan NP200 bakkie was seen spinning doughnuts at the same intersection on the same day.
However, these guys took the stakes up a couple of notches. They completely ignored the presence of a South African Police Service (Saps) van and instead, pinned circles around it.
It was complete madness. The two passengers in the back whistled on as the audacious act received cheers from onlookers.
Not knowing how to interject in this unusual event, the Limpopo police opted to watch on as they were dusted with asphalt.
The bakkie sped away right at the end of the clip. You can watch it below:
Report: Limpopo police are looking for these suspects
Not only are these acts in gross violation of traffic rules but they are egregiously negligent. It is not entirely clear if there is a formal docket opened in the search for the lads but the Daily Sun has confirmed that Limpopo police are looking for the doughnut-spinning daredevils.
Provincial spokesperson Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo could not provide any comment on the videos but confirmed that the search for the suspects is on and the public is urged to come forward with info to assist in tracking them down.
