Reports have confirmed that on Thursday, a MTN retail store inside Forest Hill Shopping Centre was robbed by five armed suspects.

A section of the mall, situated in Centurion, Gauteng, was cordoned off for investigation after the smartphone retail store was taken down by armed robbers.
Details around the incident are still sketchy and at the time this article was published, Centurion police had yet to respond to our questions on the robbery.
However, according to crime reporter Yusuf Abramjee, Fidelity Security officials were first to respond and managed to quell the suspects’ attempt to escape with the goods as well as a firearm that was allegedly taken from a security guard during the robbery.

Stolen phones recovered, two suspects arrested
At this time, we understand that two of the five suspects were cornered and cuffed. The other tree robbers are presumed to be at large.
It’s also not known in what vehicle the suspects escaped in.
