The City of Cape Town has prepared for this by enforcing road closures and offering enhanced public transport services to ease congestion and ensure smooth access to the stadium.
The City of Cape Town has implemented several road closures around the stadium to manage traffic congestion, with thousands of rugby fans expected to attend the match.
Fritz Sonnenberg Road, Stephan Way, Vlei Road, and Granger Bay Boulevard are among the key roads that will be closed from early morning to late evening.
Motorists are advised to plan alternative routes or use public transport to avoid delays.
The closures will be in effect from 06:00 until 22:30, and heavy traffic congestion is expected before and after the game.

Ways to travel to Springboks match
To help ease the traffic burden, the City of Cape Town is offering free MyCiTi shuttle services for rugby fans travelling to the match.
The shuttle service will run frequently from 12:00 to 21:30, departing from stations such as Civic Centre, Thibault Square, CTICC, Century City, and UCT, and will bring fans directly to DHL Stadium.
In addition to the shuttle service, rugby fans can also take advantage of the train service, which will operate at increased intervals from 11:00 to 16:30.
After the match, the trains will run from 20:00 to 22:00, offering a convenient option for fans to travel back from Cape Town station, located a short walk from the MyCiTi Civic Centre Station.
Councillor Rob Quintas, the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility, encourages fans to use public transport.
“All fans are encouraged to make full use of the enhanced services on Saturday… without worrying about congestion, parking, and road blocks,” he said.
For fans opting for e-hailing services, it’s advised to plan pickup and drop-off locations close to the park-and-ride facilities.
