The national Energy Availability Factor (EAF) is at 62.7% year-to-date, with unplanned outages reduced to manageable levels.
Diesel consumption also remains below budget, contributing to year-on-year savings of R16.46 billion.
Eskom forecasts sufficient generation capacity to meet electricity demand today, ensuring uninterrupted power supply for Cape Town residents.
