Inbound traffic from the N, N2, M3, and M5, should see an increase in congestion shortly after the 06:00 morning peak. While no incidents were reported at the time this article was published, heavy delays may be experienced on N1 inbound traffic. According to real-time traffic tracking, a closure on the N1 Stellenberg ramp. All lanes ramping to the N1 inbound, from the R300, are blocked.

According to Cape Town traffic indicators for Friday, 3 June 2022, congestion exacerbated by roadworks can be expected on:
- N7 southbound, about 0.5km after ramping from Plattekloof M14. All lanes are open;
